Four cost layers

Layer 1: Discovery & design

Layer 2: Build

Frontend, backend, database, admin panel, APIs, QA and initial deployment — including responsive layout, local payment gateway integration, baseline technical SEO and SSL/server setup.

Layer 3: Infrastructure (recurring)

• Shared hosting for light sites
• VPS for shops and small apps
• Dedicated/cloud for high traffic
• Annual domain renewal
• CDN/DNS when needed

Domain ownership should stay with the client even if the contractor purchased it.

Layer 4: Run (recurring)
